About Casual Mac Games

This site is dedicated to best casual games for Macs. You can find here list of really good games for Macs I like. I started playing games on my Mac about 7 months ago and I found out there are so many great games for my Mac!

What? Casual games?!

Yes, casual games! I founded this site because I wanted to share some of great games I play with other Mac-positive people all around the world. I am kinda busy person so I don't have much time for playing games on my Mac. Everything changed few months ago when I discovered casual games. It is sort of games that doesn't require too much attention and so much dedication as other PC or Mac games often do. Simply they are small and they can be played everytime without reading comprehensive manuals etc. You just run the game, play it for ten minutes and then close it. For instance, it is great form of relax for me.

My "casual" career

When I discovered casual games, it was like something I was looking for a very long time. Sometimes I needed quick break during work on my Mac and regular videogames have very slow learing curve demanding hours and hours of my time. And that is game I don't want to play. So casual games best fit for me because you can understand a whole game mechanics in a few seconds. I played a lot of casual games, both Mac and PC. But because I own Mac at my home, I decided to start this site and put here list of really must-play casual Mac games.

So if you're a Mac enthusiast like me, go straight to my homepage where you can find a lot of addictive casual games for Mac. If you are on PC (shame on you!), you can check games like 3D Magic Mahjongg, Abra Academy, Amazon Quest, Buku Sudoku, Cake Mania, Diner Dash, Family Restaurant, Jewel Quest II, Law & Order - The Vengeful Heart, LEGO Builder Bots, Luxor 3.

Casual Classics

There is so MUCH casual games but only a few really impacted the industry. Wikipedia states that the oldest casual games is Windows FreeCell or Solitaire. Casual hit (although it wasn't called casual in that time) was Tetris. With new era of casual games came a lot of legends like Bejeweled (try all of PopCap Games games!), Slingo, Super Collapse! The dawn of casual games was ahead with Azada (from Big Fish Games), Dinner Dash (from PlayFirst), Mystery Case Files: Huntsville (from Big Fish Games), Zuma (PopCap Games again).
